1. Colors for Summer Jewelry

As a designer we have to think about the upcoming seasons, usually 2 or 3 ahead of time. But even though we have to think ahead, we so enjoy relishing in the seasonal colors at hand.

Right now my mind is distracted with the colors of summer and how they vary depending on where you are in the world.

As someone who lives on the coast, my favorite summer colors are blues, light greens and a variety of whites. I think of linen, jute and canvas. The stones I am enamored with are Aquamarines, moonstones, quartz and prasiolite.

You can mix in a few other colors  or stay within one color scheme and create some fantastic pieces! Here are a few of my current picks for summer …

  6. Jewelry Designer Pamela Huizenga Opens E-Boutique For One-Of-A-Kind Jewelry.

South Florida Jewelry Designer, Pamela Huizenga, announces the opening of her E-Boutique showcasing her One-Of-A-Kind jewelry designs.

Pamela Huizenga Jewelry is hopeful that the online E-Boutique will help increase awareness of the brand, create retail sales as well as support her retailers by providing contact information on the site to drive interested customers to her retailers’ websites or physical locations.  Pamela Huizenga also sells her jewelry through a number of retail jewelry stores in the USA and Puerto Rico and is currently looking to expand into more locations. Retailers may contact her directly through the email listed below.

Pamela Huizenga, a Native Floridian, is a jewelry designer and stone cutter specializing in unique and One-of-a-Kind jewelry using colorful gemstones, unusual fossils and Rose Cut Diamonds. Her designs celebrate the colors, textures and imperfections found in nature and she uses them to create jewelry as individual as those who wear it.  Her line includes signature multi-stone bracelets, pendants, earrings, rings and cufflinks made in 22k Gold, 18k Gold and in Sterling Silver. Each piece of jewelry is handmade and completely unique. The designs are inspired by the stones.

Pamela has been involved in the Jewelry industry since she was 16. Studying the fine art of stone cutting at an early age (16) gave Pamela a deep appreciation and respect for these gifts from Mother Earth.

The first thing one will notice about Pamela’s jewelry is the stones. She loves stones; precious, semi-precious, fossils it doesn’t matter, she loves them all!

A major focus in her jewelry art is that in each piece you will find balance; balance of colors, textures and shapes. A balanced mosaic in jewelry. Pamela is constantly searching for new, beautiful and intriguing stones to use in her designs.

Please keep an eye out for national advertising and editorial coverage in publications such as Veranda and Arabella.

Retailers interested in Pamela Huizenga Jewelry may contact Pamela directly at Pamela@pamelahuizenga.com. The E-Boutique may be found at www.pamelahuizengajewelry.com
